HVAC/R COIL CLEANING & COATING

A/C & Heat Pump Coil Cleaning & Coating
Our patented HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) & Heat Pump Cleaning & Coating service can generate significant ongoing cooling & heating-related energy savings and associated costs. These life-long savings are typically in the range of 10% to 40%, on your A/C and/or heat-pump-related expenditures, guaranteed!! More importantly, our process & coatings have been fully reviewed by the EPA and approved by various HVAC/R vendors such as Trane, etc. for use on their equipment.

How does our process work? Most commercial and nearly all residential settings utilize air-cooled A/C & heat pump systems to cool & heat their respective buildings, homes, etc. These units universally rely on aluminum & copper "coils" to remove heat from the structure in the summer and add it back in from outside air during the winter. However, aluminum & copper are highly susceptible to corrosion & oxidation from automobile exhaust fumes, acid rain, pet urine, pollen, lawn waste, airborne chemicals, etc. When these coils become "dirty" the entire system, must work significantly harder to achieve the desired levels of cooling or heating required. Because of this extra work, required every time the unit operates, significant additional energy is required, often causing unit overheating and premature compressor failure--a "dead" compressor, resulting from dirty or clogged coils, is the Number # One Cause of unit failure!!

Our ONE TIME HVAC/R cleaning & coating process effectively cleans the coils (the component most responsible for eliminating damage-causing heat) using mild, environmentally-friendly products. Once cleaned, we immediately coat/seal them using our specialty coatings, thus completely isolating the aluminum & copper coils, once-and-for-all, from life's environmental contaminants, oxidation, etc.

Our coating, applied on-site at your business or residence, is essentially an air-temperature cured glass only 3-5 microns thick (the human hair is approximately 40 microns). Once applied, the coating effectively isolates & protects the coil from further oxidation, corrosion & contamination while actually enhancing the flow of air through the unit. The net effect is that your unit provides increased cooling in the summer & improved heating in the winter, while lasting up to twice as long! Our one-time process lasts for the life of the unit and we offer a full five (5) year coil replacement warranty should your coated coil ever fail (additional fees as well as certain restrictions & periodic inspections are required to maintain this warranty in full force & effect).

Documented Central Virginia heating & cooling related energy savings and associated costs savings range from 10% to 40% and continue for the life of your unit. Other cost & energy saving benefits that occur from our services including: reduced head pressure, prolonged unit life, and improved unit operation. In many cases, our cleaning & coating services are more than paid for by the first year's energy saving alone!! But, since our coatings last for the life of the unit, which is actually prolonged by our service, the energy & cost savings continue to accrue year after year paying for our services many times over across the entire unit life!!

The following data developed by the San Diego Gas & Electric Company shows the AVERAGE ENERGY & UNIT EFFICIENCY LOST by the typical HVAC unit after it has has been in normal operation for ONLY 285 days (this loss is due to coil oxidation, corrosion, dirt, pollen, mold, mildew, etc. that routinely contaminate & clog the uncoated coil. This same level of lost efficiency is also experienced 285 days after routine cleaning if the unit is NOT promptly coated)! Our HVAC/R Cleaning process actually reverses these losses and our patented coating prevents their recurrence, returning the unit to its design specifications and performance levels, saving significant amounts of energy & associated cost, while doubling the life of the unit!!

(Note: this loss is due to coil contamination resulting from dirt, corrosion, oxidation, pollen, etc.)
